Bigbury is a charming little village located within the South Hams District of south Devon. The village is located 1.5 miles inland and its amenities include a popular public house, a village store and garage located around a village green.
The local church was extensively rebuilt in 1872 but parts are believed to date back to the 14th century. Bigbury also has a golf course and is famous for its stunning views of the sea, the moors and the Avon Valley.
Nearby is the largest sandy beach in South Devon; the main attraction in this area designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The beach is popular with surfers, windsurfers, kite surfers and bathers and the soft sand is perfect for children to play on.
